Brent was born with a passion for the produce business. As a third generation Harrison he began his career in 1982 working in all areas of the family business, gaining knowledge and experience. Brent graduated from University of Arizona where he studied international marketing and Spanish. In 1994 he married Susan Edens, the 1994 national “watermelon queen”. He has two children, James and Eden. He also follows in his grandfather’s footsteps by having a love of flying. With his vast experience, Brent is now president of the Al Harrison Company. He is also very involved in the produce industry and serves on these boards: The Fresh Produce Association of the Americas – Board Member 2006 - 2007 President of National Watermelon Promotion Board 2008-2009 Chairman of National Watermelon Promotion Board 2010- 2011 President of the National Watermelon Association. Current Vice President of Western Watermelon Association 2008 - 2010 Board Member - United Fresh Produce Association |

Shelley Harrison-Valdivia has grown up around the produce industry and always knew she would become part of the family business. In 1985 Shelley began by just answering the phones, and then got her real hands on experience by working in the warehouse and shipping department. Shelley now is proud to be Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer of Al Harrison Company. She is still very involved in sales and is always ready to secure the freshest produce available for her clients. |

T.J. Bauer |

T.J. Started in the industry straight out of College. He graduated from St. John’s University in 1990 with degrees in International Management and Accounting. He was hired by a company out of Minneapolis and sent directly to Nogales. He has worked the Salinas, San Diego, Yuma, Fresno, Visalia, Colorado, Pecos, Tx and Eastern vegetable deals at different points throughout his career. He has extensive experience in the growing regions around the Western U.S. and Mexico. His time in the fields has allowed him to garner a wide range of product knowledge as well as spent many years servicing some of the top accounts in North America. He was married in 1995 to Dolores Gonzales, a local lady who had also grown up in the industry. They have two wonderful boys Tyler and Ben. T.J. also earned his pilot’s certificate a few years ago and enjoys the trips to see the growing areas and customers. |

T.J. has been on the Board of Directors of the Fresh Produce Association of the Americas for the past few years, and was elected to be on the executive board this year. | |
